Director of international company trading ingredients for Food and Beverage Industry.

1992-1997 ELECTRIC FUEL LTD., Jerusalem, Israel

Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager. With a team of 15 mechanical and 2 electronic engineers we designed a Zinc-Air battery and controller for use in heavy vehicles. The battery was successfully tested and used by German Post.

1985- 1992 AVX ISRAEL LTD., Jerusalem, Israel

General Manager of expanding high-tech company applying thin film technologies to develop and manufacture components for the electronics industry worldwide. Responsible for all aspects of R&D, engineering and production, with 94 employees and annual turnover of $35 million. Turned net operating losses into profits by the end of my second year, by quickly moving new product ideas from conception to market.

Prior to that, served as Maintenance Manager responsible for availability of all technical equipment, including photolithography, sputtering, PECVD, clean rooms, etc. With staff of eight maintenance engineers, also designed and built new electronic equipment for laboratory and production use. Shortly after I took over this position, the company was able to stop bringing in expensive maintenance services from abroad. Completed Vacuum coursework at Tel Aviv University.

Senior Electronics Engineer in the Engineering Department. Prepared trouble-shooting manuals for electronic equipment in military installations. Completed training on electronic instrumentation for military aircraft.

1969-1983 ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT PLANT, Ukraine. USSR

Senior Electronics Engineer. Designed analog and digital computerized equipment including commodity equipment and test equipment for IC's. Composed applications documentation for IC's and developed various computerized systems for industrial processes.

Design Engineer. Designed electronic instruments. Service Technician. Performed installation and maintenance services for a variety of equipment.
